Kara Blake
Kara Blake recently completed a Master's of Fine Arts degree in Film Production at Concordia University in Quebec. Having worked as a director, broadcast designer and editor, Kara has contributed to projects ranging from high profile commercials and music videos to short independent films and art installations.
Anne Émond
Anne Émond is a Montreal-based writer and filmmaker. In the last ten years, she has written and directed eight short films. At the 2009 Rendez-vous du cinéma québécois (Montreal), she was presented with the Best Direction Coop Vidéo Award for her short film L'ordre des choses. She is currectly working on her first feature film Nuit # 1. ±
Sarah Fortin
Born in Drummondville (Quebec ) in 1981, Sarah Fortin studied in Literature at Université du Québec à Montréal (UQÀM) before doing a BA in Communication. She completed her degree in cinema by making a short film called Deux Enfants qui fument.
Marie-Josée Saint-Pierre
The award-winning director and film animator has directed several short animation and documentary films including Post-Partum, Passages, The Sapporo Project and McLaren’s Negatives, the 2007 Jutra award winner for best animated film.
