The Conseil territorial jeunesse (CTJ) returns with the 6th edition of the Festival des rumeurs from December 28 to 31, 2010. This event, held in Val-d’Or, Canada, livens up the holidays with sports, art and culture while young people are home for Christmas.

On December 30, short films from the DocuMenteur festival and the Festival de cinéma des gens d’ici will be screened at 8:30 p.m. DocuMenteur organizers will be on hand to introduce a compilation of films from the 2010 edition competition, during which five teams of video makers had to make a fake documentary in 72 hours in one of the region’s municipalities. The Festival de cinéma des gens d’ici will also present its “6 Local Films” evening featuring short films made by local filmmakers.

The screening will be held at La Méchante Salle, located at 996 3rd Ave., Val-d’Or, Canada.
