For its 30th anniversary, the Rendez-vous du cinéma québécois is granting a special place to thinking about and working in transmedia and is inviting artists to participate in a five-hour transmedia workshop on February 21 and 22, 2012. The workshop - led by the producer Patricia Bergeron - will ask 4 experienced mentors to evaluate 6 transmedia project ideas. Projects and proposals selected for the event will be introduced, discussed, critiqued and then reworked in small groups. The mentors are Lance Weiler (Workbook project), Jean-François Dugas (Eidos), Pierre-Mathieu Fortin (Radio-Canada) and Jeremy Mendes (Bear 71).
