For its fourth edition, Sight & Sound explores the theme: Systems of Symmetry. The festival presents a program of aesthetic and visceral works - intimate and singular in their approach at crossing art and technology - by over fifteen emerging and mid-career Canadian and international artists. Sight & Sound presents new and evocative works, which invest themselves in digital culture as well as its illusory, sometimes dysfunctional powers. Twelve audio/visual performances and installations are presented - many for the first time - with a program of conferences and workshops, all at Eastern Bloc.
